Come down for a cup of delicious coffee provided by our 2017 London to Monaco coffee sponsor Climpson & Sons and join the celebrity send-off as our 2017 riders embark on their 115km ride through London, into the Kent hills before reaching their destination at Folkestone. For those who are keen to continue their support in person and witness more of the friends or family's efforts, there is a chance to re-join the riders at Headcorn Airfield, Kent over their lunch stop.
The ride arrives in Monaco!
We have three awesome planned events packed into the last day for 2017 riders to enjoy and lavish in the celebrations of their arrival.
- To start, a celebratory sponsored lunch stop at Cafe du Cycliste in Port of Nice.
- Followed by the official champagne royal welcome by Prince Albert at his Palace.
- And to end with an appropriate evening after party sponsored by Icon Connect.
Meet time: 7.30am sharp with roll out at 8.15am
Start/finish location: Colicci Café, Richmond Park, London
Route: https://www.strava.com/routes/8387479 The ride will include a scenic Box Hill loop allowing everyone to be back before 2pm. Ending back at Colicci Café. For those who are not familiar with Box Hill, it’s an enjoyable and approachable 2.5km climb averaging 5% (max 7.4%).
Duration: 3-4 hours
Scheduled stops: 1 x coffee and cake stop just over the half way point at 40km at top of Box Hill.
